Global Impact Projects
Global Impact Projects (GIPs) offer EDHEC Master and BBA students willing to act and engage in a Sustainable Development Goal the chance to gain their required international experience by taking part in social solidarity projects abroad.
Global Impact Projects: a high-impact way for students to gain their international experience
To better respond to global issues, EDHEC now offers Master or BBA students a unique way of gaining their required international experience, through Global Impact Projects.
Supported by the School’s UNESCO Chair, this GIP initiative allows students who want to contribute to a cause they have at heart to engage for a semester* in high-impact projects abroad within NGOs or not-for profit associations, by working as volunteers out in the field.
Global Impact Projects offer a genuine experience of co-operation and solidarity, and are designed to enable students to concretely contribute at their scale, grow, develop and to transform their vision of the world, while also building their emotional intelligence such as empathy and resilience. The projects are also a means for students to gain their required international experience, obtain a Global Impact Projects certificate from the School and earn credits (30 ECTS for BBA students) or to validate the summer internship in the Pre-Master.
* except for the Pre-Master, for which assignments last for 8-10 weeks
Although students can express their preference for the organisation and project they wish to engage in, our partners offer students a large number of assignments around the world:
